EzyQuip Hire king of the Trades at Business Awards

EZYQUIP Hire operations manager Mark McKenzie could barely hide his joy after the Roma branch of the business took out a key prize at the Maranoa Business Awards.

EzyQuip Hire beat out a series of quality finalists to win the TAFE South-West Trades, Professions and Services Award on Saturday night.

Other finalists included Mind Body Soul, Rayham Engineering, Ezy As Fitness and Darby Hicks Electrical.

Mr McKenzie said the Roma team had excelled in two key areas EzyQuip prided itself in - customer service and produce quality.

"We're really happy to win that award because of what we do as a business," he said.

"The Roma team do a really great job in making sure we have good business relationships.

"We pride ourselves in our relationships with our clients and providing high-quality equipment to them."

Mr McKenzie said Roma residents took up the entire local EzyQuip workforce, with an emphasis on developing them as tradespeople.
