Easter in the Country gets underway
EASTER in the Country is underway in Roma, and numbers are well up on last year.
After a record 35 floats paraded down the main street this morning to an appreciative crowd, the action is set to continue for the rest of the day.
The Easter Race Meeting will be held at Bassett Park from midday.
Motocross has kicked off at and will run the entire day.
Drag Racing is getting underway from 3pm at Ironbark Raceway, followed by Roma Speedway at Two Mile Rd.
The evening will culminate in the much anticipated Wolfe Bros Concert at Cities Football Oval.
There is another action packed day planned for tomorrow.
