YOUR SAY: Drivers need more tests to prove ability
WE ALL honestly believe we are good and safe drivers....believe me, we're not.
To pass our driving licence test all we have to do is to successfully demonstrate our ability to operate a motor vehicle.
We need to be tested on our ability to control a motor vehicle in all conditions.

If this cannot be done at the time of licence testing surely there should be a system preventing the issue of a full licence until a defensive driving course has been successfully passed.
This could also include when your licence is due for renewal.
If this cannot be done, what about a discount for the drivers who have?
