Drilling to commence at Yuleba bore after $1 million funding

DRILLING for the new bore in Yuleba will commence on Monday October 12 with works expected to take place over two weeks.

Once the drilling works are complete, a pump test will be undertaken to determine the size of the pump needed.

Maranoa Regional Council received $1 million in funding from the Federal government

through the Drought Communities Programme Extension for the Maranoa Water Supply Security, Surat and Yuleba Township Project – including two new bores, one in Surat and the other in Yuleba.

Please note, while works are underway, Garden St (between Perry St and Langton Ave) will be temporarily closed to motorists.
