COMMERCE Roma is asking the community whether they want after hours training on Thursday's in Roma.   

Roma businesses held three late night shopping trials earlier this year.  

Commerce Roma Executive Officer Sharyn Garrett said there was a general consensus from business owners the results had been inconsistent.   

"Although some businesses may have done well on one part night, in general it was thought it wasn't supported by the community," Ms Garrett said.   

But she said, if they community was behind it, they would still consider non-compulsory late night training.   

"Once we know what the community wants we will then talk to businesses to see if they are interested," Ms Garrett said.   

It's hoped if the shops are open late every week, late night trading will grow to be supported by the public.
