Hunt on after assault on walking track

Police are investigating after a 12-year-old girl was assaulted by a man in Boonah last month.

At about 3.30pm on June 16, the girl was walking along a walking track between Boonah Rathdowney Rd and Mount French Rd when a man stepped out from the bush and grabbed her arm.

The girl has broken loose and the man has run away from the location.

She was not physically injured during the incident.

Police are appealing for assistance to identify the man fitting the description in the comfit.

It is thought he may be able to assist with their investigations.
