Dinner... with room for a view
IMAGINE eating locally-grown dinner at one of Roma’s most iconic landmarks while viewing one of the Maranoa’s best features.
That’s what you get the chance to experience if you come along to the Roma Easter in the Country’s Outback Tucker Under the Stars this weekend, sponsored by GHD.
The concept, which aims to promote local produce as well as Roma tourism, will invite both tourists and residents to a dinner at the Roma Saleyards – the largest saleyards in the southern hemisphere.
The mock bull sale will be run while patrons enjoy the finest beef and lamb our region has to offer under the beautiful Maranoa skyline.
Easter in the Country organiser Jenny Flynn said the saleyards were ideal for the dinner, which only had limited tickets left.
“In the autumn, the sky gives us a great sunset and the saleyards is an iconic venue for it,” she said.
Light entertainment in the form of performers Michael Craig and Laura Lavelle will keep the crowd happy as well.
Tickets are available from the Roma Visitor Information Centre, with only 150 to be sold.
