FAILURE to answer to police
A 36-YEAR-old man who entered a bail undertaking earlier this month has allegedly failed his curfew check.
The Roma local must be at home between 10pm and 6am each night.
Police officers checked in at the man’s home on Powell St at 3am on September 22 and there was no answer at the door, despite the bedroom light turned on.
He will appear in the Roma Magistrates Court tomorrow, September 29.
FEMALE lashes out in local business
POLICE were called to Crazy Sams on Wyndham St just after midday last Tuesday, September 22 with reports of a woman allegedly making threatening comments.
A 38-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly made threatening comments to another person inside the shop.
She was charged with Public Nuisance and will appear in the Roma Magistrates Court next month.
LOCAL busted drunk driving
POLICE intercepted a Roma male driving his drunk friend home on McDowall St last Friday night at 11.30pm.
A 28-year-old male allegedly told police he had four Great Northern cans before driving his friend home.
He was breath tested by officers and returned a reading of 0.175 per cent.
He was taken back to the police station and after 20 minutes did another breath analysis test which returned a reading of 0.052 per cent.
The Roma local was handed a Notice to Appear in the Roma Magistrates Court next month, October 28 and given a 24-hour driving suspension.
