Double warrants result in caution
ON REASONABLE suspicion of drug possession, police executed two search warrants on Luff St this week. Police searched two addresses on Monday afternoon, withone search locatingdrug utensils within a home.
A juvenile got away witha caution when theywere found to be in possession of the drug utensils.
Kid thief facing multiple charges
A LIGHT-FINGERED juvenile has been charged with being in possession of stolen property, after allegedly stealing a pair of shoes.
The stealing incident occurred on Monday afternoon, at Target on Wyndham St. The juvenile was also charged with unauthorised dealing with shop goods.
Defective and on drugs
A DRIVER has received a double whammy, after being slapped with drug charges and a defect notice in a single traffic stop. Police intercepted the 26-year-old man on Alfred St on Thursday afternoon, where he firstfailed a random drug test and then had his car defected by police. He was issued with a notice to appear and will face Roma Magistrates Court on July 16.
Energy to commit petty theft
THIEVES who stole merchandise from a local business could soon be identified, after the owners reported the incident to police.
On Tuesday morning, unknown offenders took a carton of energy drinks, valued at $31.52,from Flash's storeon Queen St.
The incident was captured on CCTV andinvestigations continue.
