POLICE got more than they bargained for
WHEN police intercepted a 37-year-old Roma woman for a random breath test, they found something they were not expecting.
At 3am on September 16, when police pulled over the Roma woman on Albert St, officers noticed three passengers in the rear of vehicle acting frantic.
Officers located a knife in a black bag and the woman stated to police it belonged to her.
She was charged with possession of a dangerous item.
Officers handed her a Notice to Appear in the Roma Magistrates Court next Tuesday, September 29.
WOMAN puts a hole in hospital wall
A 45-YEAR-old Roma woman has allegedly lashed out at hospital staff and punched a hole in the wall.
At 8.30pm on September 18, officers were called to Roma Hospital after the woman was becoming increasingly aggravated.
She allegedly punched the wall putting a hole through it.
The woman was handed a Notice to Appear in the Roma Magistrates Court next Tuesday, September 29.
ROMA male busted drink driving
POLICE have caught a Roma male allegedly drink driving on Queen St.
Officers intercepted a white Toyota Corolla at 12.27am on September 19.
A 34-year-old man returned a blood and alcohol reading of 0.061 per cent.
He was issued a Notice to Appear in the Roma Magistrates Court on September 29, and given a 24-hour driving suspension.
JUVENILE caught with hunting knife
ON Friday, September 18, police intercepted a driver on Arthur St for a licence check and random breath test.
Officers found the driver, a 17-year-old male was allegedly in possession of a knife.
He told police he had been pig hunting earlier than day and hadn’t yet returned the knife home.
He was issued a Notice to Appear in the Roma Children’s Court at a later date for possession of a knife.
BRISBANE man caught drug driving
A 42-YEAR-old Ellen Grove male was caught by Roma police allegedly drug driving.
Just after 7pm on September 19, police pulled over a white Ford Falcon for a random roadside drug and alcohol test.
He returned a positive reading and the results have been transported to a government lab for further testing.
He was issued a 24-hour suspension and Notice to Appear in the Roma Magistrates Court at a later date.
