FROM house break-ins to hit and runs and a man accidentally driving into a cow on the Roma Southern Road, find out what else happened in town recently:

THIEVES allegedly stole bike from young boy

POLICE are urging residents to contact them if they have know anything about a bike stolen from Crystal St recently.

Between Sunday, October 4, and Tuesday, October 6, a black and red Tourex bike was stolen from the home, belonging to a young boy.

Police are still investigating the matter and urge anyone with information to contact them on 4622 9333.

VICTIM at home when offenders damaged property

HOMEOWNERS were at their Spencer St address when unknown offenders allegedly threw a large rock at their window causing it to break.

The incident took place at about 7.10pm on October 7.

Police were unable to locate the alleged offenders at the time and are asking for anyone with information to come forward by calling Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Roma police on 4622 9333.

THIEVES break into unit

BETWEEN 9pm on October 7, and 5am on October 8, alleged offenders have broken into a unit on Prince St and stolen various items.

Police say cash was stolen from the home and the victim was home at the time.

Police are still investigating the matter and are urging residents to lock their doors even if they are at home.

MAN accidentally drove into a cow

A 46-YEAR-old male crashed into a cow on the Roma Southern Road at night recently.

Police were called at 8pm on October 9, and found cattle scattered across the road.

The man and the cow escaped uninjured.

OUT-of-towner busted drink driving

A GORDONVALE man was allegedly busted by police drink driving in the early hours of the morning.

The 43-year-old male was intercepted on Bowen St a 1.30am on Saturday, October 10.

He conducted in a roadside breath test and was taken back to the Roma police station.

He was issued a notice to appear in the Roma Magistrates Court on October 28.

HIT and run

AN UNKNOWN offender has allegedly reversed into a parked car and driven off without providing any contact details.

Between 6pm on October 10, and 4.30am on October 11, a grey Honda parked on Wheeler Drive was allegedly reversed into.

The 27-year-old male victim contacted police straight away.

Police are currently investigating the matter and are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Roma police on 4622 9333.
