Crash leaves motorcyclist dead north of Brisbane
UPDATE: Police have charged a 20-year-old man after the death of a 44-year-old motorcyclist.
The younger man has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failing to perform duties and liabilities of drivers involved in road accidents and unlicenced driving.
MONDAY: A 44-year-old man has died after a crash on Ann St, Kallangur this afternoon.
Police say initial investigations suggest the man was riding a motorcycle along Ann St Kallangur this afternoon when he collided head on with a car being driven by a 20-year-old man.
The 44-year-old was later declared dead at the scene.
Both men are believed to be from Kallangur and the road where the crash took place is presently closed.
