Cop stood down over claims of inappropriate relationship

A 35-YEAR-OLD Senior Constable has been stood down amid allegations he maintained an inappropriate relationship with a female complainant.

Queensland Police said the State Crime Command officer is  the subject of a disciplinary investigation.

"In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. 

"This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated."
