Sunshine Coast commuters hit by train signal fault

TRAIN services on the Caboolture line have this morning been suspended after a signal fault.

Travel has been affected in both directions between Lawton and Virginia stations.

The fault was earlier thought to have been fixed but appears to have recurred.

Translink has warned commuters can expect delays of up to 60 minutes and Sunshine Coast line trains could be delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Technicians are working to fix the problem bad busses are taking passengers between Petrie and Northgate stations.
