Cole Miller's accused killer sees case adjourned

A COURT has adjourned the case against a young man charged over the one-punch attack that led to the death of Sunshine Coast teen Cole Miller.

Daniel Jermaine Lee Maxwell, 21, faces one count of unlawful striking causing death and one count of grievous bodily harm over the incident in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley in early January.

It is alleged Mr Maxwell, of Tanah Merah south of Brisbane, and another man were involved in a one-punch attack on Mr Miller who later died in hospital.

Mr Maxwell's case was briefly mentioned at Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday when it was adjourned until later this month.

The case will be mentioned again on Monday, August 22.

Earlier this month co-accused Armstrong Renata was committed for sentence in a higher court. - ARM NEWSDESK
