ANTONIO'S Pizzeria Rockhampton owners vented their frustration on social media on Sunday after a brazen thief broke into one of their stores in the early hours of Saturday morning.

CCTV footage posted by the popular local pizzeria on their Facebook page shows an assailant breaking down a gate at the Antonio's Xpress store on Musgrave St with a forklift, believed to be stolen from a store next door, to gain entry.

The assailant then rummages through drawers and cupboards in the store before appearing to make off with just a can of coke.

Antonio's Pizzeria posted a message with the video warning other business owners how far thief will go to break in.

"What it takes to get a can of coke after hours," the post stated.

"This happened about 12.15am Saturday morning. Watch the cage screen for the forklift action, and the top right for when the door is busted in.

"Regardless how secure you think your business is, they (edited: explitive) will do what ever to get in."
