Plane makes emergency landing at Toowoomba airport

A PLANE was almost forced to make an emergency landing after its undercarriage failed to deploy.

Queensland Fire and Rescue, police and ambulance crews rushed to the Toowoomba Airport just before 1pm today.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said the plane was able to complete an extra loop above the airport before the wheel of the plane came down.

The light plane was then able to make a safe landing just after 1pm.
