DESPITE managing to insult all of the world's Muslims and just about every minority group in the US, Donald Trump has been quick to take offence at a jibe from Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton.

In last weekend's Democratic debate, Clinton said Trump had become the "best recruiter" for the IS terrorist movement.

"They are going to people showing videos of Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists," she said.

Trump responded on Twitter: "I demand an apology from Hillary Clinton for the disgusting story she made up about me for purposes of the debate."

South Carolina senator Lindsay Graham has dropped out of the race for the White House, leaving 13 Republican candidates.

Graham has described Trump as a xenophobic bigot for his comments about Muslims.
