Body found during search for Ipswich man off Fraser Island
UPDATE 5PM: POLICE have located a body believed to be a 19-year-old kayaker who went missing off Fraser Island on Saturday afternoon.
A full-scale aerial search began after the man's kayak capsized and he failed to resurface about 3.30pm on Saturday.
The Ipswich man was kayaking with another person about 1.5km north of Happy Valley.
His body was located about 4pm on Sunday near Happy Valley.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
UPDATE 4PM: POLICE are continue to search for a 19-year-old Ipswich man who went missing while kayaking off Fraser Island on Saturday afternoon.
A Queensland Police Media spokeswoman said police had been talking to the teenager's family and advising them of the changing situation.
The man was kayaking with a friend about 1.5km north of Happy Valley when his kayak capsized and he did not resurface.
An aerial search was launched but had to be called off after storms hit the area on Saturday night.
A full scale search resumed at first light on Sunday.
Searchers are expected to continue on Sunday until the teenager is found or darkness falls.
UPDATE: 1.45PM: POLICE and rescue choppers continue to search the eastern coast of Fraser Island after a kayaker went missing on Saturday afternoon.
A full scale search commenced yesterday about 4pm until conditions deteriorated.
The man was kayaking with another man who was able to make it to shore.
A Queensland Police Media spokesman said the search would continue on Sunday until the man was found, conditions deteriorated or darkness fell.

SUNDAY: Police will resume a search at first light this morning for a kayaker who was reported missing yesterday afternoon on Fraser Island.
About 3.40pm yesterday police were advised two male kayakers had been paddling in the ocean, approximately 500 metres north of Happy Valley, when a large wave had dislodged both of them from their kayaks.
One of the kayakers made it back to the shore along with both the kayaks however the second kayaker has not been seen since.
An extensive search utilising local police, two rescue helicopters and Tin Can Bay Coast Guard was undertaken before bad weather forced the search to be called off.
Local Fraser Island police continued to search the shoreline with the search and rescue effort set to resume again at first light this morning.
SATURDAY: TWO rescue helicopters are searching for a man who went missing after his kayak capsized near Fraser Island.
RACQ Careflight choppers will search until last light.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were called after the man did not resurface when his kayak capsized about 1.5km north of Happy Valley.
Two other people canoeing with the man have been checked over by paramedics.
The spokesman said the man may have hit his head.
