Chef Peter Milos murder case: Jury goes out

A JURY has retired to consider their verdict on whether James Thomas Howell murdered former Sunshine Coast chef Peter Milos.

Mr Milos was found dead in a house in Brisbane in May 2014.

The Crown alleges Howell bashed him to death.

Mr Howell has been on trial in Brisbane Supreme Court since last week for Mr Milos's murder.

Justice Peter Lyons, who has been overseeing the trial, finished summing up the case for the jury this morning.

He dismissed two reserve jurors before the remaining jury retired.
