Charleville spat turns into violent rampage against police
TWO young men have been brought into the hands of the law after an alleged violent rampage.
Charleville officer in charge sergeant Mark Everitt said police prevented a fight between the two men in the early hours of Saturday, November 21.
“Both were arrested and placed into police vehicles,” sergeant Everitt said.
“The Charleville police allege that these young men kicked out windows on the police cars and assaulted the police.”
They both had their bail refused initially, and then faced the Charleville Magistrates Court.
As a result of the hearing, one man remains remanded in custody until his next court date in December, and the other is on strict bail.
