Cars stolen after thieves allegedly take keys from house in Roma

TWO vehicles have allegedly been stolen in Roma after offenders illegally entered a house and took the car keys.

Sergeant Shane Ferry said between 5pm and 10.30pm on November 21, a Luff Street home was unlawfully entered.

The alleged offenders took the keys for two vehicles from the house, and drove them away.

Both cars were found in the Roma area, including a Toyota Station Wagon and a Mitsubishi Triton.

“Police are urging people to lock their vehicle and lock their premises because it’s an opportunity for crime,” sergeant Ferry said.

Police are also urging that keys are not easily accessible to criminals.
