CareFlight conducts critical overnight rescue missions

CAREFLIGHT Rescue helicopters have flown critical rescue missions across south-west Queensland overnight, with patients being transported to Toowoomba and Roma hospitals for treatment.

The Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to fly to a private property at Cattle Creek, near Tara, at 9.10 last night and retrieved a female patient who was suffering the effects of a neurological condition.

She was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital for treatment.

CareFlight's Roma-based Surat Gas Aero-Medical Service helicopter flew to a private property north of Roma at 3am.

The medical team attended to a 73-year-old man who was also suffering from a neurological condition.

He was flown to Roma in a stable condition.
