A CAR crash at the McDowall Street roundabout this afternoon has left a driver trapped inside the vehicle.

Preliminary reports suggest a car failed to give way on the roundabout and collided with another car, causing it to roll.

The second vehicle is currently resting on its side with emergency services working to right the car to free the driver.

The drivers were the sole occupants.

Queen Street is currently blocked by emergency services.

Investigations are ongoing, and avoid the area if possible.
