Car comes back to bite, after hand brake forgotten

A 60-YEAR-OLD woman was doing a newspaper delivery round in Riverheads last night (August 10), when she was hurt by her own car.

After she stepped out the vehicle, she left the car in neutral and did not secure the hand brake.

The car rolled, and the door struck her to the ground.

A police spokesperson said the woman received a hip injury.
