Call for witnesses to a crash in Mundoolun this August

FORENSIC Crash Unit Officers investigating a fatal traffic crash at Mundoolun on Tuesday, August 25, are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

They would especially like to speak with a truck driver who attended the scene immediately after the crash and possibly saw the crash happen.

At 12:45pm a silver Nissan Pulsar was traveling south on Mundoolun Road, Mundoolun when the vehicle has veered across and hit a grey 4WD travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver and sole occupant of the sedan, a 19-year-old woman from Woodhill, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The male driver and female passenger of the 4WD were not injured in the crash.

Forensic Crash Unit Officers are appealing for witnesses to the crash or anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
