The injuries to the two people hurt were not serious with Queensland Ambulance Service reporting them being treated for neck pain.
The delays stretched back to the twin service centres at Caboolture.
Just after 7am, the congestion on the soundbound land was reported as being cleared.
A series of crashes on the Bruce Highway over the past couple of weeks have caused lengthy delays for motorists.
Some have called for authorities to come up with a plan to avoid the shutdown of traffic for so long.
Police have explained they have to close traffic lanes to treat the injured and carry out a proper investigation, especially when there are serious injuries or a fatality involved.
