Helicopter crash

A MALE patient in his 40s was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition with head, chest and leg injuries, following a helicopter crash at Quipeta Station, Quilpieat 5.40pm on Wednesday.

Public nuisance

POLICE were called to a public nuisance along Lamon St on Tuesday at 11pm. A woman was banging on houses and running around with a tyre iron. She was issued with a public nuisance infringement.

Dangerous drugs

A SEARCH warrant was executed at a Charles St address in Roma at 6.30pm on Wednesday. During the search, police allegedly located dangerous drugs, pipes and utensils inside the property. A man was charged and will appear in Roma Magistrates Court next month.

Raging man

ON SUNDAY, a man was causing havoc outside a Phillip St address at 12.30am. He was trying to fight occupants of the address. Police located the offender and arrested him. He was released with an infringement notice for public nuisance.

Drug charge

LAST Friday, a search warrant was executed in Roma, during which police allegedly found a pipe used to smoke dangerous drugs. A man was charged with the offence.

Outback concert

PAUL Kelly and Ian Moss will headline a special charity event in Dirranbandi aimed at raising funds and supporting the town's school students.

The concert, titled Paul Kelly and Friends, will be held at Dirranbandi Showgrounds on June 2.
