Woman rushed to hospital after suspected snake bite

A WOMAN in her 60s is being treated for a suspected brown snake bite.
Paramedics have rushed to Bundamba, where a woman was bitten on the finger by a snake on Creek St about 12.45pm.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman says the patient was complaining of chest pain and is awaiting transport to hospital.
