Driver fined over crash on Warwick-Allora Rd

UPDATE: One of the drivers involved in a two-car crash near Warwick late yesterday has been fined for following too close.

The crash happened on the Warwick-Allora Rd at Deuchar at around 5pm.

A woman and her baby were transported to Warwick Hospital as a precaution.

An Allora police spokesman said one of the drivers was fined for following too close.

"The cars were travelling too close, not paying attention," he said.

 

UPDATE 6PM: A woman and her baby have been taken to Warwick Hospital after a crash on the Warwick-Allora Rd.

The mother and baby have minor injuries and are being transported as a precaution.

One lane of the road is open, and investigations are ongoing.

 

5:20PM: EMERGENCY crews are rushing to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on the Warwick-Allora Rd at Deuchar, 15km from Warwick.

The crash reported at around 5pm.

Initial reports suggest nobody is trapped in the crash.

Coolant is reportedly leaking on the road.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
