Pedestrians involved in traffic incident

UPDATE: QUEENSLAND Ambulance Services has confirmed two teenagers, a male and female, sustained injuries after an incident with a vehicle at 4.25pm today.  

Both patients were transported to the Roma Hospital from outside St John's Catholic School on McDowall St.

The teenage boy is confirmed to be 16-years-old and it is reported paramedics took spinal injury precautions and he sustained leg injuries. 

There is no further update on the female teenager yet. 

EARLIER: POLICE are diverting traffic on McDowall St in Roma following an incident between two pedestrians and a vehicle at approximately 4.25pm.

Paramedics are treating two patients at the scene on the pedestrian crossing outside St John's School, where they have been reported as concious and breathing.

Fire and Rescue, Police, and Ambulance are all in attendance.
