BREAKING: Kids dump stolen car at Caloundra, flee on bus

UPDATE: Our juvenile alleged car thieves may have tried to disguise themselves with a quick change of clothes before embarking on their bus escape.

Clothes found in the rubbish bin of a home at Moffat Beach, where the stolen car was dumped, are believed to have been left by the children.

UPDATE: Police believe the children have now made it to Maroochydore.

Officers narrowed the search down to two buses, but one had already stopped at Maroochydore and the children were not on the other.

EARLIER: POLICE are searching for several children believed to have dumped at stolen car at Moffat Beach before fleeing on a bus.

The children are believed to have traveled by bus a short distance, from Currimundi Way to the Caloundra bus terminal before getting off and catching a different bus.
