UPDATE: Woman dead after jet ski crash

UPDATE 5.45PM

A QUEENSLAND Ambulance spokeswoman has confirmed the death of a 37-year-old woman.

5.15PM

A WOMAN is believed to have been killed after a crash involving a jet ski.

EARLIER

EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a jet ski crash on the Burnett River near Sharon.

A 37-year-old female was allegedly hit by the watercraft just before 4pm.

Paramedics are currently performing CPR after the women went into cardiac arrest.

QAS senior operations supervisor Martin Kelly said there were a number of paramedics on scene including a critical care officer.

The women had been with a number of family members including children at the time.
