UPDATE 1.50PM: THERE are multiple spot fires happening along Womblebank Gap road in Injune. 

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, South Western Region spokeswoman said multiple crews consisting of rurals, urbans and farmers are currently trying to extinguish multiple fires. 

"What we believe has happened is a truck carrying hay has caught on fire a little bit and dropped little spot fires along the way," the spokeswoman said. 

"The hay caught on fire, not the truck.

"It is quite a long section that crews are working on.

"Multiple crews - rurals, urbans and famers are currently working to extinguish the fires."

EARLIER: EMERGENCY services are currently racing to a bushfire in Injune.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said crews are just arriving on scene now after reports of a bushfire on Womblebank Gap road.

"We are getting a hold of Rural fireys now too," the spokeswoman said.

"Urban crews are just heading there at this stage.

"We don't have too much information at this stage."
