A MAN in his twenties died in a crash on the Bruce Hwy at Forest Glen on Friday evening.
It is understood the single-vehicle crash occurred in a northbound lane directly under the bridge, which runs over the highway, near the Nambour Connection Rd-Maroochydore Rd roundabout.
One man was killed and the driver of the vehicle, a 51-year-old man, and another 50-year-old male passenger, were taken to Nambour Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Traffic was disrupted when the vehicle is believed to have rolled over and come to a halt on its roof about 6.45pm on Friday night.
Emergency service crews attended the scene and northbound lanes were closed for about three hours but have since re-opened.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
