Block judges: Only one couple can win it
THE Block's three judges enjoyed a rare moment of unison when asked to pick who they thought would win this season of the home renovating ratings winner.
Judges Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Neale Whitaker were asked by host Scott Cam during Monday night's episode to nominate which couple they think will have the most success come auction day.
Interior design guru Blaze said it was a tough pick, given how strongly each of the couples had finished their houses.

"But I'm just going to say, Josh and Elyse. I just love the family environment they've created," she said.
Whitaker echoed his fellow judge's sentiments.
"There is one couple that I think have created the ultimate dream home that is just right for now … and that would be Josh and Elyse," he said of the couple, who received winning scores for an incredible six rooms in their house.

"I'm going to be devil's advocate, I think walking into Jason and Sarah's house ..." said Palmer, referencing the show's most controversial couple, who got off to a bumpy start in the early weeks of the renovation.
Scott Cam couldn't hide his surprise: "JASON AND SARAH?"
Palmer explained that, while they may have started sluggishly, the pair eventually hit their stride.
"Halfway through the competition, when the entrance was revealed ... showed how far that house has come," he said.

However, even Palmer couldn't quite bring himself to back the underdogs.
"Jason and Sarah really came from behind, but unfortunately they're gonna get pipped at the post by … Josh and Elyse."
The youngest couple on The Block this year, carpenter Josh and model Elyse quickly emerged as fierce competitors. Sportsbet have them as the $1.60 favourites to win the season, with professional renovators Ronnie and Georgia a distant second on $4.50.
