Bittersweet finish for MKR's Kat and Andre

TONIGHT'S all-Perth showdown on My Kitchen Rules came down to one team's sweet finish.

A perfect panna cotta saw Eva and Debra redeem themselves while Kat and Andre's fate was sealed after their crème brulee failed to set.

Kat and Andre's first two Italian-inspired courses were mediocre, while Eva and Debra excelled with their hot and spicy soup but crashed back to earth with a nearly inedible chili crab dish.

Kat and Andre were no organized in the kitchen, but they managed to avoid the stressful blow-ups of previous challenges.

The "spice girls" Eva and Debra survived their second sudden-death cook-off after regaining their flavour balance with the five-spice element of their panna cotta.

"I feel sad that it's finished. Our experience on MKR has been magical," Kat said.

"Through the good, the bad and the ugly we've just been who we are.

"My only regret in the competition is not winning."

The final six teams will compete against each other in a quick-fire cook-off tomorrow night.
