Beerwah arson accused remains in jail
A 40-YEAR-OLD man charged with burning down a home at Beerwah yesterday did not apply for bail in Maroochydore Magistrates Court this morning.
Nathan James Cormac was not brought up to the court room from police custody for a brief mention of his charges of arson of a building, arson of a motor vehicle, lighting a fire to plants and unauthorised possession of explosives.
Cormac was charged last night for allegedly setting fire to a car, house and garden at two separate homes in Strawberry Rd in Beerwah yesterday.
His matters were adjourned until April 28.
He was remanded in custody.
