Banora bust nets $75k worth of meth
POLICE say they have seized methylamphetamine with an estimated street value of $75,000 at a Banora Point home.
Officers from the Tweed Heads Target Action Group executed a search warrant at a Darlington Dr home just before 12.30pm on Wednesday.
Police allegedly found drug paraphernalia, a crystal substance believed to be methylamphetamine and a liquid believed to be methylamphetamine oil.
The items were seized for forensic examination.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Tweed Heads Police Station.
He was charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug, one count of supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug and one count of possessing a precursor.
He was refused bail and is due to face Byron Bay Local Court today.
