Baby on way for Statham, partner

JASON Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have finally confirmed they are expecting, taking to Instagram to announce the happy news.

The child will be the couple's first after being together for almost seven years.

Speculation the Hollywood couple were expecting has been swirling for months after Huntington-Whiteley seemed to only be spotted in loose, baggy clothing.

Despite the 20 year age gap, Statham and Huntington-Whiteley have been together since 2010.

Statham, 49, proposed in January, 2016 with a five-carat diamond ring valued at more than $400,000.

The 29-year old actress gushed over Statham in an interview with Self Magazine in 2015 telling the publication, "We're best mates.”

"He makes me laugh every day. I almost feel like I never had a proper boyfriend before!”

The supermodel also opened up about having children with Statham way back in 2015.

Speaking to The Edit, Huntington-Whiteley admitted "Having a family is something I think about for sure, and whether I'd live here in America or in England.”

"But it's not always as simple as that,” she explained as both her and Statham have adopted LA as their base for greater career opportunities.

"I have no idea what will happen but it'll be interesting to find out, right?” she added.

"And nothing will be perfect, I'm sure.”
