Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus sing Crowded House

WATCH: Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande sing Crowded House

TWO of the world's most powerful young starlets, Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande, have put on ridiculous onesies and knocked out a cover of Don't Dream It's Over by Crowded House to raise money for Cyrus's charity for young people.

The classic track is considered one of the greatest Australian and New Zealand songs of all time.

The pair sat down on an inflatable green couch, with Miley dressed in a pastel blue unicorn outfit and Grande in a grey and pink "bear or mouse" outfit.

With an acoustic backing band, the two riff off each other, occasionally interrupting the song to "flirt" and chat and laugh.

The Cyrus-founded "Happy Hippie Foundation" is a non-profit organisation designed to help young people who face homelesses, the young gay community and "other vulnerable populations".

The low-fi gig was part of the foundation's "Backyard Sessions".
