Are you afraid of the Park?

It was family fun, with just the right amount of scary, in Apex Park for Halloween. Costumed revellers gathered to enjoy the unique fun Halloween has to offer, as well as raise money for a good cause. All money raised from the $5 entry fee will be donated to Roma resident Craig McKnight to help buy a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

"We wanted to do something different,” said Apex President Tash McInnes. "Craig needs $30 000, but every little bit counts.”

Haylee Proud took the opportunity to dress up as one of her favourite things - and one not so favourite.

"I'm a zombie princess,” Haylee said. "I love princesses but zombies give me nightmares.”

There were plenty of activities for kids, music and prizes for best dressed.
