Another trailer rollover on Warrego Highway

ANOTHER road train dog-trailer has rolled over on the Warrego Highway.

The incident occured early this morning, 5km east of Wallumbilla in a work zone with no line markings.

During preliminary enquiries the 49-year-old driver told Wallumbilla Police that he had been having problems with the headlights flickering on and off, and had drifted to the left side of the road, which allowed the dog-trailer to slip off the edge of the road and overturn.

The truck was transporting a load of scrap metal to Brisbane.

Police investigations are continuing.
