Afros owner Toni Rodgers delighted with Customer Service win

AFROS Hair and Beauty Studio owner Toni Rodgers has had clients so satisfied, they actually send her flowers.

So it's no surprise the Roma business took out both major awards for customer service at the Maranoa Business Awards on Saturday night.

The entire team won the award for Best Customer Service, while Ms Rodgers' senior hair stylist Sharna Campbell took out an individual award, beating out a score of equally-deserving rivals.

Ms Rodgers said the key to customer service was pretty simple - put yourself in the clients' shoes.

"I just treat people how I'd want to be treated if I was getting my haircut - I pass that concept onto my clients when they come in," she said.

"People send us gifts, flowers and Christmas presents and they tell us how good we make them feel."
