74-year-old accused of trying to kill his wife

A 74-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court for the second time after he allegedly tried to kill his wife on Thursday.
The man, who the Chronicle has chosen not to name, was to undergo a medical assessment over the weekend.
Defence lawyer John Milburn did not apply for bail on behalf of the man who is charged with attempted murder.
The man was remanded in custody.
