
23 schoolkids on bus during head-on collision with car
A WOMAN has been cut out of her car following a head-on crash between her vehicle and a school bus.
Police are investigating the incident which occurred on the Mount Lindesay Highway at Beaudesert about 8.30am.
The bus was carrying 23 schoolchildren and the car contained a woman and two children.
No children on the bus were physically injured.
The two children in the car were also uninjured but transported to Beaudesert Hospital as a precaution.
The driver, a 31-year-old woman, had to be cut from the vehicle and was flown to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
