12-year-old's black BMX stolen from bike racks near school

A 12-YEAR-OLD boy has had his bike stolen. 

His black BMX was taken from the bike racks opposite Maryborough State High School. 

Police said the bike, which is branded Academy Aspire, was locked on the bike rack. 

It's believed to have been snatched between 10am and 11.30am on Thursday. 

Police are investigating the theft. 

Anyone with information that may assist police is being urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or the local police station.
