Dean swaps streets of Roma for bright lights of New York

DEAN Pritchard has swapped Roma audiences for Jennifer Lopez.

In Sunday night's episode of The X-Factor the 22-year-old was flown to New York to perform in front of the pop superstar.

But Pritchard told The Western Star he wasn't star struck during the encounter.

"I'm not a J-Lo fan, I was pretty laid back," he said.

"I respect her a lot but she's not my style of music."

Lopez recently performed for a global audience of more than two billion at the FIFA World Cup opening.

For the full story on Dean Pritchard and his visit to New York, see Tuesday's Western Star newspaper.
